Advise on dating young Nigerian man.?

I am a young caucasian woman who grew up in the eastern the US and now live in Canada. I am dating a nice young Nigerian man who grew up in Nigeria. I have done a little research and a lot of what comes up about dating a Nigerian man is not good. My boyfriend does not fit into this bad "stereotype". He is well educated, kind and old-fashioned. This is only my second relationship. My first was also an interracial relationship with a young Chinese man born in North America, so adjusting to differences in culture is not a big problem for me. I guess what I am looking for is some honest advice about dating a Nigerian man. Are there anything in general that I should be more aware of? Anything I should be especially sensitive too? Advice, personal experiences (bad and good) and basically anything applicable and helpful is much appreciated.
