Is this a good idea for a book?

Ah! Very cool! Don't change using "them" though. I like it. Just don't overuse it. You can maybe think up another name to call them as well besides just "them." Because it might get confusing if you use the word them to describe someone who's not a "them." Know what I mean? Lol but besides that I really like the premise! If it becomes romancey, then just let it happen, don't force it.

Is this socially healthy?

My parents are divorced and both of them move alot. my dad lives overseas in germany and i visit him for a few weeks every summer but my younger sister goes to school with him. i pretty much hang around her group of friends when im there. but the only ones who live by us is these two girls, one is 1 year younger than my sister and the other is 1 year older than me. i dont really hang out with them much anymore. my mom has moved from mississippi to north carolina to alabama in the past year so ive had to let lots of friends go. i still communicate with them online but not enough. she will probably end up moving again because she cant find a decent job around here and she told me that she doesnt really like our new house. i dont either and i havent made any friends so i dont mind moving again. i havent seen one kid of any age on our street, otherwise i wouldve talked to them. im hoping that when school starts back ill have more friends but it'll be a new school district so i wont know anyone but im used to that kind of thing by now, even though its terrible. i just wish i couldve lived in one neighborhood so i would be familiar with lots of people, and have the same friends every school year. btw im going into 7th grade.

Potluck question! help.?

So we are having a potluck at work. I have no idea what to make. There's going to be about 40 people there. Already on the list is enchiladas, ribs, and a big assortment of chips and dips. Help me please? Thanks. And btw, I prefer something that can be put in a slow cooker/crock pot to be kept warm. :)

How do I prevent hot dogs from losing flavor?

Boy Scout troop has a hot dog booth once a month - we heat hot dogs in a microwave and keep them hot in a crock pot with water. They reheated them the next day and they turned grey and lost flavor. Should we omit the water? Any ideas how to do this better? We are limited to crock pot use (no hot dog roller available).

Is Karma a crock of baloney?

I respect the beliefs of those who believe in karma as one of the founding principles of their spiritual beliefs. They also generally believe in reincarnation so karma plays out over several lifetimes. However, I do not believe in karma. I have seen to much kindness result in misery and too much hatred and deviousness rewarded. Bad things often happen to good people and vice versa. There is no rhyme or reason.

Do you know a cartoon of a boy who's shortened by a magician? Does anyone know about it?

It's a story of mischievous boy who'd disturb and play wildly with his farm animals. Later in the story a small magician (i guess) makes him small and in an attempt to escape he flies away with a white duck and a small rat. He's kind of dressed in red..... Can hardly remember. The later adventure is all about searching the magician who's turned him smaller. If you know about this cartoon, please let me know... It's of 1990s i guess... not sure..... please I need it......

Great money fundraisers?

The state I am currently living in is North Dakota and as you all know if you watch the news it is flooding majorly. I am not in a flooded area but many of my friends and family are. I was wondering if anyone had any fun yet fast fundraisers that could raise a lot of money. Thank you :)
