Can you put cooking oil in a crock pot to cook your roast meat an veg?

yes but you dont wanna cook it in just oil! I have never heard of doing that...youll wanna use some type of liquid like broth..you can put oil as well, ive made a mixture with diff herbs and spices, broth and some oil for moistness and flavor...
