Is there anything that Christians can't be duped into believing if they already believe in magic?

I have found that a lot compartmentalize. They believe in nonsense like God, even to the point of being called a fundamentalist, but they can be sharp in business, school, etc. It's like someone that has weak legs but a strong upper body.
